Racing on an Island!
Come join the inaugural Nakheel Ride, a day full of cycling, on Saturday 6th February at Deira Islands, Nakheel's spectacular waterfront development, situated adjacent to Dubai's Deira district.
The island provides a unique cycling course that will be closed off exclusively for the event. A schedule comprising of competitive races for amateurs and a non-competitive leisure ride for recreational cyclists and families ensure that this day will cater for all abilities.
Split into competitive and non competitive rides the Nakheel Ride is the place to be for all cyclists in the UAE.
Our competitive amateurs can enjoy a rare criterium race on a fast and exciting course.
While recreational cyclists and families can also join in the action by partcipatiing in the sportive - a non-compeitive 2 hour leisure ride around the island.
A spectacular mixed-use, waterfront development, Deira Islands comprises four man-made islands situated adjacent to Dubai's Deira district. The remarkable project covers a total area of 15.3 square kilometres and adds an additional 40 kilometres, including 21 kilometres of beachfront, to Dubai's coastline. Easily accessible from the mainland via road or boat, Deira Islands is also close to Dubai International Airport.
PROGRAM:
7am - 7:55am: Juniors U/14 and U/16 : 7 Laps of the Short Course ( 4Km per Lap)
7:05am - 7:55am: Juniors U/12 : 3 Laps of the Short Course (4Km per Lap)
8:00am - 8:45am: Female Qualifying Criterium Race on the Long Course 30 Minutes Plus Bell Lap
8:45am - 10:15am: Male Qualifying Criterium Race Heat 1, on the Long Course 30 Minutes Plus Bell Lap
8:45am - 10:15am: Male Qualifying Criterium Race Heat 2, on the Long Course 30 Minutes Plus Bell Lap
8:45am - 10:15am: Male Qualifying Criterium Race Heat 3, on the Long Course 30 Minutes Plus Bell Lap
10:30 - 11:30: Male Semi Final 1 Criterium Race on the Long Course (30 Minutes plus Bell Lap)
10:30 - 11:30: Male Semi Final 2 Criterium Race on the Long Course (30 Minutes plus Bell Lap
11:45am - 1:45pm: Cycling Sportive - Ride as long or as short as you wish in the two hour period
2pm: Female Final Short Course Criterium 30 Minutes plus Bell Lap
3pm: Men's Grand Final Short Course Criterium 30 Minutes plus Bell Lap
Notes:
Ladies have 1 qualifying race and top 20 race in the Final
Men have three qualifying races with top 20 from each qualifying race - plus next top 20 (fastest) going through to semi finals.
Men's semi final a random draw of two groups of 40 race.
Men's Final is the top 10 from each semi final and next top 5 riders on time from either group.

Delivery and Payment Confirmation. On completion of the registration you will receive an email confirming your entry into the requested competition. If you do not receive this within a reasonable time please email your query to events@gulfmultisport.com
Refund Policy: Registrants can request a refund or change prior to the event closing but there is NO refund or changes to registrations within 7 days of the event. Full policy is available in terms and conditions. Queries can be directed by email to events@gulfmultisport.com
Submission of manual activities
The inphota platform allows submission of activities through many different means - Strava, Garmin, Fitbit - but we understand that sometimes it is preferable to submit the data in another way. To facilitate this we have produced a manual submission form which you can enter details of the activities for the contests that you have registered for.
To access the manual submission form you must be logged into the inphota account that registered for the contest, and have the details to hand. If you registered for the event using guest checkout then it is not possible to use the manual submission form.
Take advantage of quick registration
Quick registration will automatically add an item to your basket with the details that are listed against your inphota profile. This means that to make the most of quick registration you need to ensure that your profile is complete and up-to-date.

Unfortunately this contest is restricted by age or gender, and the details in your profile do not fit within the restrictions laid out by the organiser. For this reason quick registration is not available.
However, you can still register for this contest through the usual means, and by filling out the details of the person that you want to register!
