We present the Al Hudayriyat Time Trial Challenge on Friday morning 17th September to be raced over the 12.75Kms as ridden in the 2021 UAE Tour event for riders from 15 years to 60 years.
There is a Junior 5Km Time Trial for those under the age of 14 years.
An individual time trial (ITT) is a race in which cyclists race alone against the clock in either the time trial bike or road bike contest.
ITTs are also referred to as "the race of truth", as winning depends only on each rider's strength and endurance, and not on help provided by teammates and others riding ahead and creating a slipstream.
Starting times are at equal intervals, usually set between 30 seconds and 1 minute.
The starting sequence is usually based on the finishing times in preceding races with the highest ranked cyclist starting last.
Competitors are not permitted to draft (ride in the slipstream) behind each other. Any help between riders is forbidden.
The rider with the fastest time is declared the winner.

All finishers will receive a downloadable Participation Certificate and a Finisher Medal.
COVID-19 Protocols - To participate in this event you must be vaccinated. Your ALHOSN app must be showing ‘Green’ with a negative PCR test result having been undertaken within 48 hours of event day.
Non-vaccinated people will not be allowed access to participate or attend the event.

I will not enforce a claim either upon the organizer or upon the supporting companies and their agents because of damage that could arise by participating. I declare that I have practiced sufficiently for the participation and I am physically well. The event staff are authorized to take me from the contest when noticing immediate threats to my health.
